It is that time of the year where we are offered an abundance of great local music to enjoy on Summer evenings. Now comes the chance to take a short drive out of town to enjoy some of Melbourne’s finest at Kyneton Music Festival. Only an hour out of Melbourne and held on 20th-21st February, it’s sure to be a good way to spend a weekend.
This years line up includes Laura Jean, Charles Jenkins & The Zhivagos, The Darling Downs, Money for Rope, Liz Stringer, Tracey McNeil & The Good Life, Little Bastard, Three Kings, Archer, and many more. Various venues around picturesque Kyneton will host the array of talent. Kyneton Music Festival is an all ages event but if you want to enjoy a drink you’ll have to wip out that ID.
Playing times are now online with plenty to see.
Tickets can be purchased here with options for shuttle buses around town and a return shuttle bus trip to Southern Cross Station if a car lift escapes you.
Unpaved is excited to be giving away two free weekend passes to the Festival with thanks to Kyenton Music Festival. So if you fancy a wee trip up Country to enjoy some fine tunes simply leave a comment below to be in the running. The winner will be drawn Sunday 15th February. Please note both passes go to the name drawn on Sunday. We’re sure everyone will make friends up there but this way you can bring one of your own along too.
